What Should You Expect When You Come In For Your Dentist Appointment?

When you come in for an appointment, we’ll greet you at the front office. We’ll go ahead and check the patient’s temperature, make sure that we don’t feel like they’re feeling sick today, ask a few of the COVID-related questions. Then a hygienist will come and get the patient, and the parent will also be asked to fill out some paperwork on our computer. When we first call the patient back, we will also call the parent back to a consult room. And we will go over some paperwork information for the parent. For the child, we like to know a little bit about their medical history, make sure everything’s healthy. And then a few random consent forms that we do. And then the patient and the parent will come back. If the patient needs x-rays, we go ahead and get those right away. The doctor will come and do an exam, and then we’ll clean the patient’s teeth.
